Dr. Leung has been my physician for over a decade and I would not want it any other way. His breath and scope of applied medical knowledge is beyond any other medical provider in this area. As a former chemical engineer, he knows his pharmacology, which is essential in the diagnosis, treatment and prescription of providing intelligent care for his patients. Dr. Leung saved my husbandâ??s life. My husband used to be a healthy outdoor person. But one day all of sudden, he got acute lower back pain out of the blue. We went through several visits to the emergency department and saw several doctors in out-patient clinics. Other than the diagnosis of a urinary tract infection and treatment with common antibiotics, no lab tests or imaging tests were done. In the meantime, his back pain was getting worse and he started to experience shortness of breath, and he eventually passed out in the hospital. Finally, Dr. Leung was consulted. He just took a brief look at my husbandâ??s eyes and listened to his heart; then he immediately gave a diagnosis of acute bacterial mitral valve endocarditis and transferred my husband to Stanford Hospital by helicopter for emergency cardio-surgery with mitral valve replacement. Thanks to Dr. Leungâ??s excellent diagnostic skills and critical medical management, my husband has recovered from the life threatening… disease and has been able to return to his normal activities. Dr. Leung is a down to earth and very sharp.. I highly recommended Dr. Leung.
