Dr. Chi-Hyun Kim, MD

I’ve been her patient for 2 years. She’s very direct (borderline rude) and is not open minded. I stayed with her because i didn’t have time to try to find a better fit with another doctor. I’d been with my previous dr for over 10 years and only switched because my insurance was changed. She noticed I lost 40lbs but dissed that I had lost the weight using Keto Diet. She assured me I would gain it all back though I haven’t. She didn’t notice that my cholesterol numbers had improved. She dissed Fitbit device when I told her I was using it to track my exercising, heart beat etc. She ultimately was not supportive of my mental health needs which is why I moved on to another provider. She’s very intelligent and a good doctor but lacks the appropriate bedside manner. I tend to like this type of person but not as a doctor.

I have seen Dr. Kim regularly. She is a terrific doctor who really cares about her patients - really felt like a family member when I saw her. I would highly recommend her!

If there's a rating of 0, that's the best rating that fits her. She's mean and rude, no manners at all. She doesn't even know how to say "Sorry," when she was the one at fault! She's practicing in WA now, wonder why she moved from DC.

Dr. Kim is excellent - I am very fortunate to have been accepted into her practice. She will spend a good amount of time going through your medical conditions, coming up with a "game plan", and being there as you move forward. It is not an overstatement at all to say that she is the best primary care physician I ever had. Get an appointment with her if you can!
