Dr. Chi Mei Vanhoozen, MD

In my 82 years as a patient, I have never met such an incompetent Physician. For most of my initial office visit, this Physician talked about her child and the fact that she was a single mother. Let's just say the Doctor didn't do a competent exam. Then, after receiving my medical records from my previous Physician (retired) she failed to care for me in the most basic way. The Pharmacy contacted her for refills on the medication I needed and this "Doctor" completely ignored the refill request. Dr. Van Hoozen put my life at risk because of her incompetence and apparent lack of concern for me as a Human Being. I would warn you now to stay away from this Physician.

This in not the first problem with Dr. Van Hoozen's office. The office is run very poorly. It is very difficult to get them on the phone. The office does not call you back. When they finally decided to send me a bill, they billed the wrong insurance. I called and notified her of this and asked her to straighten it out, she said it was'nt a problem. I never heard from them again, till a collection agency sent me a notice. I have tried to call her office 3 times since getting the notice, but no one picks up the phone.

Dr. Van Hoozen is very caring. She does not hurry you out of the office. Always cheerful and friendly and listens to you. That everyone should have a doctor like her.Her front office is top notch. Always on top of my needs.I am a truly satisfied.

She is so caring and takes the time to explain everything to you.
