Dr. Chih Cheng Chang, MD

I’ve been going to Dr. Chang for over two years now. He was the very first doctor after 16 years knowing that I was diabetic that ever took my socks and shoes off to check my feet. Thank God they were OK. He seems to be very caring and takes the time to listen. I have never been to such a caring and competent doctor in my life. When I am concerned about some thing, he checks it for me so far I’ve never had any problems.

Awful experience

Originally, this doctor was my endocrinologist. After being hospitalized due to my thyroid levels, I had a follow up appointment with him. In this appointment, he told me that it wasn’t my thyroid that caused this and that maybe my symptoms suggested I had a heart problem. After seeing another endocrinologists, it was confirmed that it was a thyroid issue and I am now being treated accordingly. I do not suggest this doctor. He does not listen to you or your symptoms.

Dr. Chang is a hard headed non listening fool and I wonder how many people have died in his care. I recommend he stop practicing in the medical field right now and go become a karate teacher.

Dr. Chang is a highly intelligent and very supportive adult endocrinologist. He listens and offers valuable insight to my Type 1 diabetes management. He also cares for my husband with a different endocrine disorder. His office staff is very friendly and have taken care of our requests in an efficient manner. We are both very satisfied.

Dr Chang is thorough and always explains test results and expectations of medications and other treatments. He is friendly but very professional. I absolutely love this doctor. Highly recommend him for endocrinology care.

I visited Dr. Chih C Chang because of an elevated thyroid test done by my doctor and when I went to his office and explained all the symptoms and he wanted to test me for a few things which I was perfectly ok with. I had seen several doctors do test and none of them could figure out what was causing all my symptoms. When I came in to get my test results Dr. Chang told me that all my test came back normal but I should probably follow up with an OB. I got extremely upset because every time I had got to a doctor and they did test they all came back normal. When I finally went in to see the OB she had informed me that he had sent her tests results that showed that I had PCOS which is something that he can treat and he never informed me that I had it. I will never see him again and I would suggest that if you do that you ask tons of question and second guess everything.

He made me feel as if I were a liar and that what had been done so far,(by my pcp), was not good enough. After the 2 visits, 2 co-pays, and an extra trip to repeat lab work-I live 45 minutes from his office- I still don't know any more than I did before I went. NEVER AGAIN!
