Scammer! Worst Doctor I Have Visited. I began working with Dr. Achebe and CheatMontee Health Services in May 2025 to get my meds. The first visit cost me a substantial amount of money and I assumed that this was because it was an initial consultation and it wouldn't cost this much moving forward. Then, the next month in June, I had another office visit and she told me I needed to see her every month. I received the bill for the office visit in June, and it was even more. The first session was around $200 and the next one in June was around $250. At this point, I called Dr. Achebe's office and I began to ask about the cost of the office visits and they said that I could go with another option and go with a telehealth visit which would be cheaper. I also called my insurance provider and I checked, and they said that they were covering the expected amount of each visit. I have good insurance through my corporate job so I found this strange. I began to go with a telehealth option… for the next few months and it was still expensive, around $150 each, and there was one month where I couldn't make my appointment and I asked if she would refill my prescription. She told me again that she has to see me every month and then she gave me a five day prescription to get me to our next call. Finally on that call, I pleaded with her and I tried to explain the situation that each one of these office visits was costing me a ton of money and then I couldn't afford this and that the bill was starting to stack up on me and I had an outstanding balance now. I had already paid $250 on the balance the previous week but these sessions were so expensive I still owed another $175. I asked her if we could move to doing three month visits so that I could save some money, and at this point, I started to realize how greedy and awful she really is. She told me that she didn't want to go with a three month visit, because most insurance providers wouldn't be likely to do that so it wasn't really worth her effort. I said that I would talk with my insurance and see if I could get the payment down and she said "It doesn't really matter how you get it paid. I'm gonna get my money anyways." I have never heard a respectable doctor talk to a patient like that and I asked if I could get my medication for the next month and I would try and pay down as much of the bill as I could but I explained that I had already paid 250 the week before and I was struggling with money and I need my prescription. She refused to give me my prescription and said I need to take care of my balance first and talk with my insurance first and she wasn't going to help me. I realized at this point all along that she was doing these monthly visits so that she can get paid over and over again. We easily could have spaced out the visits between three months or more but because she is so greedy and so awful and she wants her money so bad she made sure that she saw me every month and that she was getting as much money from me as possible. I called my insurance they explained that they have been covering 60% of each visit. The reason why it's been so much this whole time is because she charges an exorbitant of money for her visits. Which I would honestly be fine with if she was any good. She's actually horrible at her job and terrible communicator. I would never ever recommend this doctor to any person, and I think you should all stay away from her or else you're going to empty your wallets and get terrible help in return. I am now getting my prescription from my main doctor and I am not working with her ever again. I'm saving a ton of money now. I hope this review gets seen by every single one of her patients. The only way that I would remove this review is if she cleared my outstanding balance. She knows she ripped me off and she should give me my money back.
