Dr. Chinazo Crystal Ehie, OD

Dr. Chinazo Ehie is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. Dr. Ehie graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2019 after completing her undergraduate at Kansas State University, graduating with a B.S. in Biology.During her time in optometry school, Dr. Ehie served as the Political Advocacy Committee National Liaison on the American Optometric Association. She was also an active member of the Student Governing Association, serving as historian and secretary. She completed externships at Camp Yokosuka in Yokosuka Japan, University Eye Clinic in Anaheim California, Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma, and University Eye Clinic Los Angeles; an underserved clinic in Downtown LA. Dr. Ehie also volunteered throughout her time in optometry school, working with the Special Olympics and various community outreach programs. Through her externships and volunteer work, Dr. Ehie gained proficiency in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular …disease, glaucoma management, specialty contact lenses, and laser refractive surgery management.Dr. Ehie joined Kleiman Evangelista immediately following graduation in the summer of 2019. She is currently an active member of the Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
