I was referred to him by my chest surgeon and was told "He's my A team pulmonologist". He was definitely right. Dr. Shah cares and listens. Spent time explaining everything. My wife and I were floored how great we felt after that first visit and have now been seeing him for years. Very happy.

I have never had a doctor spend so much time actually listening to me and my problems. I initially met him at Morristown Medical Center when I was sick with a bad pneumonia in the intensive care unit. Much of the early part of the hospitalization I do not remember as I was on the ventilator and in a coma but my husband said he was fabulous. Once I got better and was out of the intensive care unit, he and his partners continued to care for me. I have since followed up with him in the office a couple times and he has been nothing but gracious. Really enjoyed meeting him and am so glad he is my doctor.

Dr. Shah is wonderful. He has such a great bedside manner and takes the time to explain everything. He also takes the time to communicate with other essential doctors you are seeing. He really takes a team approach.

Dr. Shah is well read and well informed. He listens and never rushes you. He has the perfect blend of youthfulness and wisdom.

Trust him 100%. My father has been through a number of illnesses in the last 10 years—some mild and some life threatening (ICU). He has been there each time and honestly has saved my father’s life. Love him.

Discuss's condition and explains results of tests. I did not feel rushed, He took the time to write down RX names, reason for tests. He communicated diagnosis. Contacted recommended test to other other doctors. I always left my appointment feeling that I was informed of my condition and he was following up with appointments and review of tests.
