I had a terrible experience with this provider and her office. To start with, they refused to give me an invoice when I requested one, claiming that the the on-going service needs to be completed first before I got one, so I was literally in the dark with what my balance was or the progress of my treatment. The service it self was unacceptable. She put on a crown that was wrong from the moment she made the impression and put a temporary crown on me. When I complained of excruciating pain, she failed to see that the temporary crown was way too big and needed filed down. I actually had to see an specialist to have them fix the poor job she did with my temporary crown. Then, when the permanent crown came in, she said she was "90% sure" it was right, and suggested to use temporary cement to implant the permanent crown! When I asked her what she meant by being "90% sure", she simply explained that she just "wasn't sure it was going to give me problems later on". Since she had already… filed down the crown twice due to the fact that I was biting my cheek with it, I wrongly assumed that was the reason why she "wasn't sure". She then told me that she was just going to put it in permanently and that if she had to fix it later on, I would need to pay for it all over again. Needless to say, when I started having pain again, she just told me that I was getting food stuck in between the crown and the neighbor tooth and to just "continue to floss". I again, had to go to another dentist to find out what she should have told me from the beginning -She didn't do the job right and left a gap between my teeth. If she would have told me that, I wouldn't have had let her put the permanent cement on my crown. Indeed, I really don't think the patient should make that decision, it should be the dentist's ethical decision to be honest and accept that she has made a mistake in doing her work. She should have sent the crown back to the lab if need be to make it right, instead of putting the burden on the patient to decide whether to put a non-working crown or not. Now, I am left with a crown that doesn't work right, and paid over $1000 to get. This Dentist has truly been the worse, most unprofessional I ever had. And I mentioned the word unprofessional because she told me to "go see another dentist" if I don't like her work, even though she is half way through the treatment process.
