Dr. Chitra Manickam, MD

What an absolutely horrific physician. Truly an embarrassment to her peers. She is careless and reckless. I hope everyone sees this review for years to come so that they stay far away from her and any practice that hires her. Shame on you.

I had a referral to this RA doctor from my dermatologist. First thing I was asked is why I was there,I had already been seen 2 years ago by another doctor in the same field. The appt went downhill from there, I do not think she had any knowledge of certain autoimmune disorders, some of the info she gave me was not in the least true. I know a RA doctor who actually had told me the exact opposite of what she said. When I asked her about this, she was insistent I was wrong. By the end of the appt, she said we could do more xrays(more money for Kaiser) I asked her why? Since she knew already the answer to everything. When asked if I could do a medrol pak, to help with some inflammation so I could at least walk and continue to work, and I quote, her reply "No, that would only make you feel better. " I left in tears, I would not recommend this physician, I don't think she has knowledge of a Rheumatologist.

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone, typical arrogant doctor who would only do the bare minimum of her job duties with little to no compassion for her patients

Trying to get a hold of her office directly is like trying to talk to God. All you get is recordings and put on hold . Waited 30 minutes and still couldn't get through. I had a question about a prescription that she gave that wasn't accepted by Anthem. Waiting a week now for her to reply.??
