Ive been a patient at this practice since October 2016. I had an appointment today which gave me pause to reflect and share my sentiments. You are brilliant and exceptional. You and Dr Wang who was my assigned physician has used cutting edge technology and expertise to treat me over the years. I diagnosed with metastatic triple negative breast cancer with a Her-2 factor. And im here and still functional after 8 years. i didn't make it easy, refused surgery, chemo and radiation. I was treated with Pembrolizumab over 2years before we started hearing about immunotherapy. And it was successful. Every treatment that i have been assigned has been crafted and targeted specifically for me. Designer meds.That's the level of care i receive. Support staff is exceptional Special Thanks to PA’s Peace, Helene, and Helen John. RN Linda King is such a great leader and mentor. When i go for treatment the atmosphere is positive professional and efficien healing atmosphere

Dr. v is an excellent doctor. She is very professional, thorough, and personable and compassionate.

I would like to tell anyone that has to deal with any form of cancer to please reach out to Dr, V. She is very professional, knowledgeable about cancer and she explains everything before treatment starts. She is very personable to make sure you take care of your total health. Dr. V really do care about the well being of her patients. I wouldn't go anywhere else. She has a very professional and friendly office. The nurses that work along beside her are awesome. I can't say enough except I am healed of breast cancer. This is the result that we all pray for. Well done Dr. V and staff!!

I love Dr. V and her office. I have been coming to her practice since 2016 and have always received the best care. Her bedside manner is excellent and the staff are out of this world. I have and would recommended her office to anyone who’s in need of a oncologist. If i could give more than 5 stars I would. She is definitely about her patients well being.

I have been a patient since 2015 after my 2nd diagnosis of breast cancer. Dr. V, as many of her patients call her, explained which drugs and why she was recommending the treatment. Some how my fears were put to ease because the administrative staff, infusion nurses and my nurse practitioner were so comforting.

I am a breast cancer survivor, and since 1999, Dr. Verkatraman has provided exceptional service. Dr. Verkatraman is a very caring and patient healthcare provider, who I can trust. She personalizes services for her patients, and pays close attention to detail. For these reasons, I highly recommend Dr. Verkatraman.

I have been a patient of Dr. V since 2011. She is a very serious doctor and does not smile much which would give a new patient the wrong impression of her. However, she educates the patient about their diagnosis while at the same time developing a plan of action which was very comforting and appealing to me. Dr. V is very aggressive with treating her patients. She and her staff are very proactive in getting the patients referrals approved. Prior to major procedures, she does not take offense to the patient desiring a second opinion and in fact she encourages it. She worked with my physician at Georgetown who took my case before a team of specialized physicians who deal with my type of cancer and they came to the same conclusion as Dr. V. If you want a physician who is going to laugh and joke with you this is not the doctor you want. If you want a physician who is committed to steering you into a more productive and/or better quality of life and who holds no punch cards, then Dr. V… is who you want. She takes the time to listen to what you have to say, stays on top of your case, explains everything to you in laymans terms, fights for the approval of recommended treatment if there is a glitch with the insurance company and she or her staff will follow up with you on the progress of the referral. Her staff is very professional and don’t mind you asking them questions. Even the personnel in the billing department are very personable and cordial which is rare. They are very expediate in handling your complaints. Lastly, Dr. V has a huge room in her office for chemotherapy and the staff are very nice and try their best to make the patient feel as comfortable as possible. The room is bright with plenty of sunlight with several television monitors. You cannot go wrong with this excellent doctor, nice staff and a clean environment.

She is an expert in her field of Hematology and Oncology. She has been my Dr. for 16 months and I am happy to report that my status reports have been excellent for the past 7 months. I feel great. She provides personalized care. And I am glad I was referred to her.
