Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:Growing up in a rural area, I saw how important access to care and preventive care are. Prior to working in Family Medicine, I worked inpatient, which only confirmed what I had seen firsthand: that focusing on preventive care truly does provide a better quality of life, and that managing chronic conditions prevents hospitalizations. What I want my patients to know about me?:I love creating relationships with my patients. I believe understanding patients from a physical and emotional aspect leads to better outcomes. As an advanced practice provider, I can help improve all areas of your health. What I do when I'm not seeing patients?:Spending time with my husband and my dog. I enjoy exercising, reading and traveling.
