My case was very confusing, because the Drs. I had been seeing could not be found. The NP did her best to figure out a solution. What concerned me was the NP wanted me to drop off my machine without directions as to what I should do in the meantime about using a CPAP. Are there ones I can use temporarily? Will I be safe or what should I expect not using it?

Last time I was there Choi said that if I couldn't get help with weight she might be able to help me getting meds for it, but this time she just gave me a name of someone to call for it. I also kept emphasizing that I haven't been able use my CPAP machine because there was a tear in my mask and I hadn't received my supplies yet and was using my Air mini travel machine. But she kept preaching to me about using my ResMed primary machine - I don't think she was listening to me.

NP was very responsive to the issues I asked for suggestions. The fact that mine is mild OSA did not result in mild responsiveness. That means for me that I may avoid looking back wishing I had done something sooner than later to mitigate OSA outcomes and risks.
