Very knowledgeable. Bedside manner was friendly yet efficient. My illness ended up being a virus, so I will follow up w/my doctor. ER Dr. Kyriakedes performed his job with excellence during my night of misery.

Arrogant, misinformed, dismissive of patient concerns, terrible patient bedside manner. If you get this guy in the ER, find someone else.

Dr Kyriakedes needs lessons in compassion, and his PA Brittany King is on a power trip from the Moment she walks in a room. She thinks she knows all. She has zero personality, lacks empathy and her facial expressions never change. She had the nerve to look at a friend of mine who is fighting cystic fibrosis and has an active infection and said she refused to run any blood labs and said She didn't look sick. She had a white count that was climbing near 10 thousand, high lymphocytes, low neutrophils, coughing up green mucus, fighting fever. Barking like a dog, vomiting green mucus. But....She didn't look sick? My own experience was with Dr Kyriakedes, a dr that refused to check me for CDIFF back in 2011, when I had just gotten over an extended bout. He refused to check me again 2 months later when was ambulanced to ER with same diareeah and smell is very notable. I had diarrhea and vomit all over my sheets, he never did a thing for me. I had just spent months in the hospital,… had a pic line with multiple strong antibiotic therapy for infections, and had multiple surgeries. I was on pain medication because of surgical pain after multiple surgeries less than 2 months before I was in Mercy ER with this CDIFF symptoms. He wanted to give me dilaudid for pain through my IV and I refused. I was scared because I had never been on narcotic pain medication prior to these surgeries, i was on oxycodone at the time, and asked for that instead, I didn't want to be snowed. He treated me like a drug addict. He argued with me and said he would give me nothing if I didn't take the dilaudid. I don't understand that? Wouldn't someone who was seeking drugs want the most potent one? What's hilarious is I found out after I left and was ambulanced again an hour later after I left Mercy, to Akron City, and YES I WAS POSITIVE FOR CDIFF with extensive colitis and I had a flu bug also where I was vomiting at the same time. I told the ER doctor how this mercy medical doctor treated me, and they were appalled. I should've sued him for sending me home, letting me poop and vomit all over myself and never even sent anyone to help clean me up. I am in my 30's. I've never been so humiliated in my life.
