Gaslighter. Took weeks to get an appointment for an urgent situation, then he refused to do a physical exam and just wanted to talk before referring me for ultrasound. His office tried to schedule the ultrasound 2 weeks away, but I found an imaging center that would get me in in 2 days. Results came back with a major concern that needed treatment and he didn't bother calling back for 5 days. I called three times and left messages, once to say I was thinking of going to the ER and wanted to know if I should. They told me they were marking it urgent and assured me he'd get back to me that day. He never called. Then the receptionist assured me he would call back the next day, but he never did. I finally called the after-hours line at 6 pm and spoke to another doctor. The next day, he called and I thought he would apologize for taking so long, but instead he scolded me for inappropriately using the after-hours line. "When do you expect me to call you?" he said. "I have other… patients!" In between patients? At the end of the day? Calling with results is part of a doctor's job. He complained that patients shouldn't see their results before he gets around to looking at them. Then he said, "Why did you wait so long to get the ultrasound?" Two days. I waited two days because that's the earliest appointment the imaging center could give me, whereas he had tried to schedule me two weeks out at his own clinic. He was just looking for any way to blame me for his delays. And no one ever called me with the results of my blood tests. Meanwhile, I was still in an urgent situation. His nurse told me to try to stay out of the hospital and I agreed, but that meant I was untreated and unable to make any next step until he got around to calling. I should have been medicated those 5 days he didn't bother responding. He then said I should schedule a biopsy with him, which I tried to do, and then was told the hospital he works with doesn't take my insurance and they wouldn't suggest anyone else. I went elsewhere, was seen within days, got a physical exam and biopsy on the same day, a phone call right away with the results, and was treated with so much more respect and decency.

Dr. Raju was great!! I've never seen a male gyno before and was always adamant to see a woman. It always felt too awkward to see a man. After my friend had a great experience with him, I decided to give it a try. Within seconds of meeting him I was no longer nervous or felt awkward! He was super friendly, down to earth, and professional. He talked to me like a colleague and he listened to every word I had to say. He was very thorough, and asked me several times to make sure I had absolutely no additional questions for him, and asked me again before the end of the appointment. In the past I've always felt rushed or my questions were ignored and only birth control was discussed. He actually took the time to LISTEN to my concerns, and he was adamant about looking further into my symptoms and testing. We had great conversation during the exam which kept me calm and decreased any awkwardness. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. I plan on making him my permanent gyno!!

Dr Raju was very supportive and encouraging throughout my pregnancy and TOLAC. I give him full credit in my successful VBAC and appreciated his patience and care. He’s easy to talk to and always answers my questions without hesitation. I have already recommended him to others.

Doctor Raju. Is a caring, kind doctor who explains everything and listens well..he is concerned not only about you " female parts" but cares about your total health. I have never felt rushed or a lack of caring....he is the best of the best
