Dr. Christa Raneeida Pannell, MD

Oh heck no! Never will I try this office again. While she might be a good doctor, no way. The attitude and behavior of her staff is awful. I was trying to establish Dr. Pannell as my primary-care physician last Wednesday with an appointment. I have also just been diagnosed with breast cancer again after the same in 2012, treated including a double mastectomy. Long story short I am in extreme pain right now and can barely drive. Headed to 3 pm appointment, phone directions put me in Lexington on a different Hickory Tree location. Called her office at 2:45 to tell them and was told it’s OK, come on. Got there and was told immediately we’ll have to reschedule. No. I just called and was just told to keep driving to appointment. Explained situation. Front-desk very rude person gave me paperwork to fill out and was very focused on getting my financial signature. Goes to tell the doctor my situation including barely being able to drive. Have to reschedule, so no, I told her that will never… happen as I will never walk in that office again. Horrible experience. Zero compassion, zero effort to work with a patient/new client, very hateful attitude and demeanor.

She is excellent I'm very very satisfied

6 year patient. wanted me to pay $19 before appt. have never had a balance due and the balance wac less than 30 days old. explained that i was on disability and would pay when i received my check on the 3rd, which was little over 2 weeks to go. i have had pneumonia and broncitis several times in last year. dr pannell's worker said that the dr would call something in for me. DANGEROUS nt knowing for sure what i have. gave me a number to call for home office. the 2 people i talked to was apalled by the way i was treated. one of tose said she would have somene to call me, since the number i was given was not the right dept. i was called 3 hrs later, i was called and her attitude was she could care less. then had the nerve to ask me if i wanted to make an appt with dr pannell. I carried a negative balance for at least 6 months. this wasalso a follow up visit from being hopitalized at an out of town hospital for 7 days. i basically go to her office every other month.
