The Dr. Said my children had excellent oral health in a letter to no longer welcome us at her practice but did fillings on my kids that did not have cavities she uses another name for this treatment but it’s still drill and fill! Beware! I am Friends with someone who use to work for her she told me this is a regular thing to make sure she makes all the money she can from each person.

Just gave 1 star because I had to in order to write s review! Beware! My mother was a patient of Spann so my husband & decided to make appts as we were searching for a dentist that accepted our insurance! Achoice we wish we had never made including my mom! All 3 of us ended up having broken & chipped teeth after simple cleanings! After speaking with my mom about my back teeth starting to fall apart as well as my husband & finding out that she had to return to Dr Spanns office to have herfront tooth repaired after noticing it was chipped right after going in for a cleaning I knew that It wasn’t just coincidence that we all three had teeth chipped & broken after having them cleaned by this office! There is so much more to our story including over billing as well as being sent to other dentists to have half a procedure done then returning to Dr Spanns office for completion of that same procedure! We were confused & overcharged as well as having to spend hours in her office waiting to be… seen them waiting for the procedure or cleaning then having to sit & listen to Amy explain our next appts & the money we now owed after insurance! Having to sit & listen to her for 30 mins to an hour after having a long grueling experience already was like having more teeth pulled in itself! Out experience with this dental office was a nightmare & I would like to know that we are not alone in our experiences so that what they are doing to patients can be stopped!

Greedy

The office was really nice. Dr. Spann was pleasant. But I was over billed. Did get it adjusted, but I feel like I can't trust them to bill me accurately. Also felt like they had a very hard-sell approach to dental extras. They really pushed extra appointments and even when I declined they called more than twice to schedule anyhow.

Dr Spann and her staff creat a friendly and professional environment that makes you almost look forward to your appointments! She is very knowledable ...

I love Dr. Spann. She's a great dentist. She's always very nice. It seems like she really cares about her patients. I live in FL now and I still call her when I am in town and she squeezes me in.

I was charged $350 for cancelling 22 1/2 hours prior to an appointment. Policy is 24 hours and there is no reasoning with the office staff. I was a patient for 2 years, never late or no showed or even canceled before. I always pay in full upon the same day. The office has no supervisor to talk with and when asking to speak with Dr. Spann, I was told "She does not speak to patients about their billing". Poor customer service - greedy with the billing regardless of circumstances.
