Dr. Christen Benke, DO

Don’t count on this doctor in an emergency. She does not listen. She Let my daughter suffer in pain for weeks without giving her a specialist referral, making her wait for surgery. Hopefully my daughter is not permanently disabled. No one should suffer like this. Thank you Dr Benke.

Seems she doesn’t interested in your health

Dr. Benke and her staff are all I could have hoped for in a medical practitioner. She was appointed my primary care physician and I was a little skeptical at first wondering how my initial consultation was going to go with a Dr that I had not met with. What a sense of relief I had within the first 5 minutes of meeting Dr. Benke and engaging her in conversation about my needs and questions. She is hands-down one of the best medical doctors I have met and her manner is calm, positive, thorough, attentive, flexible and personal. I was seeing Dr. Benke for a standard physical and some knee issue's and she made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I had the sense that this doctor REALLY cared about my whole being and not just the fact that I needed a physical exam and some other work. If you are looking for a doctor whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic, treats the whole person, and takes the time to be caring even while maintaining a very busy schedule I'm sure, then Dr. Benke is… someone you should consulate with. I want to give a shout out as well to the front desk reception area and tremendous job they all do. Super friendly and efficient.

Wasn't impressed at all. Dr. Benke seems to down play health issues, chalking them up to "its life" rather than spending and brain effort on finding out the cause or even suggesting tests. Not a pro-active approach.

This MD is pleasant; however, her office staff are extremely rude and disrespectful. The doctor ran labs on me and said she could either mail me the results OR I could make another appointment to come back in to discuss the results with her. I elected to get the results by mail because I am a healthcare professional who does not need assistance interpreting lab results. After a month, I never got my labs in the mail so I called the office. Her staff refused to mail the labs! They insisted I make an appointment to see the doctor to get the results. Well, I had to call five separate times and finally they relented and sent my labs. By this time, I had waited TWO months for my results and what is worse, there was an abnormality THE DOCTOR NEVER EVEN CALLED TO TELL ME ABOUT. She had made a note on the labs for a prescription but apparently it wasn't important enough for them to call me about it. I will never return to this office. The doctor has absolutely no communication with… her staff and Scripps ought to rethink their affiliation with this group. Their treatment of patients is absolutely BELOW the standard of care.

The office staff is terrible.

The office is nocely decorated, but the services are horrible. Never gave me results of the tests performed, and I had to pay for for them in full because my insurance considered them experimental tests. I did not authorize them, and she did them anyways. Never went back to that office, would not recommend Dr Benke.

Went for a yearly check up, and Dr Benke performed tests without informing me, my insurance did not cover them, because they were considered experimental tests. I had to pay for them. When asking for the results, the Dr never gave them to me. So I ended up paying for almost all the test wihtout having the results. Never went back, would not recommend this office, the staff is very ungrateful.

I had my yearly "women's" exam today. I've seen all of the doctor's in this particular practice. They are all wonderful. I was in and out of Dr. Benke's office in 20 minutes flat! She was super nice, patient, and answered all of my questions. I will be back next year!

She is my personal Physician She spends time with you very professional with a friendly and caring manner.
