Went to the ER for the *4th* time in one week for severe abdominal and chest pain, vomiting, rash head to toe, and tightened throat/constricted airways. My doctor had faxed a signed note requesting that I be admitted this time so they can try and find out what is wrong with me (instead of just pumping me full of fluids and sending me home). This “doctor” spoke to me like I was a 5 year old and said that I was just hyperventilating. He told me how to breath, kept me there for 7 hours without treatment and ignored me. He claimed my hands were locking up due to anxiety (my hands were NOT locking up). He didn’t listen and spoke over me when I tried to explain my pain. He didn’t care. When I mentioned that my doctor wanted me to be admitted, he laughed and said “Unless *I* see a benefit in that, I won’t do it.” He said specialists do not make hospital visits and I’d have to schedule those on my own time. This is a lie! I’d literally rather die at home in my bed than risk getting him as an… ER doctor if I seek help one more time. So that’s what I’m doing- lying in bed waiting to die. He should be arrested for negligence.
