Dr. Christian Cyril Bannerman, MD

You would think a physician in the emergency department of a hospital would care to err on the side of caution before rushing a patient at the door. He made me feel bad for requesting a scan like it wasnt a had enough decision to go to the emergency room, even at the suggestion of my insurance company. I felt extremely uncomfortable with him treating me.

This physician was very unprofessional. When taking my information he was constantly talking over top of me, asking the same questions over and over and then repeating my information back to me incorrectly. At the end of my stay he walked into the room said my labs were normal, turned around without stopping, and said with his back turned that I needed an endoscope. No opportunity for questions and totally forgot to give me the results of my CT scan. He discharged me on the same medications I was already on which weren't working and I was vomiting blood. I was an ER nurse for 8 years and I know this was very poor care.

I was seen by dr. Bannerman at MaimonidesHospital Emergency Room. He was curt "hip" but professional. I felt comfortable and was provided with reaasurance about my medical condition. I waited a long time to be seen in the ER but it was well worth it. Dr. Bannerman gets 4 stars in my book.
