Dr. Christian Gerrit Blankers, MD

He took my 2 year old on as a patient on short notice, and really got the problem taken care of after his previous doctor told me the things going on were normal, he referred me to a specialist and we had surgery for my son within 2 weeks.

He and his staff are great, very nice & caring

I was in a car accident and went to the ER and about 10 days later I wanted to see the nurse practioner and have her look me over concerning my whole chest area because I was having terrible pain yet. One of the front gals in the office made an appt. for me that day but about 10 min later I get a call from the very nasty office manager Melinda and she accused me of playing games and manipulating them due to their office policy is NOT to see anyone who was in a car accident. I was a regular patient there and had no problems before except they kept making me come in all the time to renew meds even tho I would had seen Dr. Blankers one wk B4. Melinda, the offfice manager told me that I could NOT see the NA and she said I was NEVER allowed in the office again!!! My husband was so disgusted that they denied me medical help when I was hurting so bad that he went to the office to speak to the office manager, Melinda, and they just blew him off and he was very courteous to them!! Melinda… talked to me awful but wouldn't talk to my husband in person. I started to see Dr. Blankers almost a year ago and right away the phone nurse, Lisa, is a HUGE snot and very RUDE. She was always very difficult to talk to and very uncaring. I NEVER gave her any reason to be that way to be. I have suffered with much the last 10 yrs with cancer, bowel obstruction, 2 back surguries and so on. We moved here from another state about 2 yrs ago to retire early and it has been awful to find a decent doctor. I was with the same Dr. for 25 yrs b4 we moved here and never had problems like this. And almost everytime I saw Dr. Blankers, he barely would do anything for me. He was always sending me to some other dr. He wouldn't even remove a little bit of wax in one of my ears!! He seems very nice but just not a good Dr. I truly believe that the office gals, the office manager and the phone nurse run that office and I think that Dr. Blankers is clueless and too afraid to tell his workers that he's the boss. They are the manipulators and how can they determine who Dr. Blankers sees and doesn't?? Are they Drs?? I have talked with another drs. office to see if I can get get in there and since it has been over the holidays, the drs. need to review my medical info yet. The office gal I gave the info to, I told her what had happened and she said that their office takes people who have been in car accidents and she wanted to know who my dr was and I told her and she said that they have gotten a lot of Dr Blankers patients come to them now and have heard of so many complaints of that office especially the staff is terrible!! We are going to report this to every place we can. I have NEVER been so mistreated at any medical place in my life!!

If you are looking for a primary care Dr. This Dr will be your hero. I am 29 years old & have been a patient of Dr Blankers for almost 10 yrs. he is a very professional , kind & caring Dr. His bedside manner is incredible, he is very very thorough in his exams he is very informative & will take the time to explain & discuss diagnosis, test results, treatment options & medication's that will best treat any problems or conditions you have. All of my family are now patients of Dr. Blankers & none would have a cross word to say about him, his staff or the office. The staff like Dr. Blankers are very personable, they will call you personally to follow up on your condition or treatment. They will return calls made after hours or on weekends for existing patients & are very prompt returning your messages should you have to leave one. Office visits are never hard to get. They will work you in if booked up. I live about 45 minutes from this Office & there are hundreds of Dr's in the city I live… in & I have tried several to spare myself the commute in the past but if your looking for a Dr. Who will treat you like family, treat what's wrong with you & never push unnecessary medications a drug rep dropped off at you this is the Dr. You will be blessed to visit. I have no ties or gains for writing this review & it is the first & only I may ever write about a Dr. But I trust this man with my life, my health, my Children's health & all I hold dear to me. If you live anywhere in NWA & the drives seems a bit far, make the trip. He has been a Blessing to our family & will be to you & yours.

I like this doctor. He seems to actually care about his patients.
