Dr. Christian Paul Chouchani, DO

I’m genuinely surprised by the poor reviews on here...it literally feels like I’m reading about a completely different person. Dr C has been my GYN for the last 4 years and I’ve appreciated him from my very first appointment. Yes his office is always busy and I’ve always had to wait..but I can only recall one time out of many that I was upset about the length of the wait. But I’ve been through a lot with with my gyn health over these last few years and I am only 30 years old. Dr Christian has been nothing but professional, respectful, compassionate, and proactive with me. Ive trusted him throughout many difficult conversations, and several bedside procedures as well as surgery under GA and I’ve never felt uncomfortable. I would (and have) recommended him to other women.

These comments are hard to believe but very true as far as his lack of professionalism, narcism and pompous demeanor. I first saw the father, Aedel. He seemed rushed but nice and caring. He referred me to his son, Christian for what was supposed to be imminent surgery. The son was awful, didnt seem to understand why I was there, had no interest in my discomforts and was definitely not interested in my past medical. He immediately stereotyped me, as a woman, then berated my concerns. Actually told me I was lying about symptoms and although I was not, have not since, ( that was 7 months ago) going through the change he insisted I was and told me I had appendicitis for the past 3 years. He ultimately kicked his chair into the wall and stormed out ...taunting me as I left with a "see you next year"! I have seen alot of doctors in many fields through the years and have had good and bad opinions but this guy needs another field. I have never encountered anyone so unprofessional. As an… intelligent independant woman I left initially feeling whip lashed, confused and berated. Save yourself those feelings and pick the next listing.

I’m so disappointed. Tried to form my own opinion aside from the reviews. But, no. They are correct. This doctor is rushed, rude, and quick to tell you that he knows better than you. I understand it must be hard talking to women about their bodies and knowing nothing about having a woman’s body, but try listening, empathizing, and actually hearing them! I will not see him again.

Worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office. I had to wait for almost 2 hour late to see the doctor and when he came he didn't introduce himself, or apologize for the wait, he just said "Why are you here?" He then rudely asked me if I was pregnant, when I said I just had my period he said "You know how many times I have heard that?" So I replied that I had just had a sonogram which would have shown a pregnancy and he interrupted asking if I was trying to school him about his job and that I had to prove I was pregnant by taking a test. No one had told me I needed to take a pregnancy test and had he came in and asked me to take one because they needed to I would have done it without complaint. It seemed like he was picking a fight with me for some reason. He then asked me if I was having a bad day and said he was having a day and every other patient had waited 1 & a half hours too so he didn't want to deal with my attitude. I had not said a single word about the wait or… complained about anything. He then asked if I wanted to see him some other time and I said no I'm leaving so he stormed out of the room leaving the door open where I was sitting on a table wearing nothing from the waist down but a paper cover. I had to walk to the door half dressed in front of an open door that opened into a main hallway. By then I was in tears. The nurse that came in before him, and the other general practitioner I saw at an earlier date were wonderful. The GP took extra time to talk to me about fertility issues and was warm and friendly. It's a shame I don't feel comfortable going back there because she excellent.
