Dr. Christian Arthur Devaux, DO

Pushed vaccine sold me medications I refused in the office tagged as much as he could on the bill. Locked me in the building with the lights off. Condescending and very rude. Terrible doctor needs to have his license revoked. Lucky to get one star.

I am thankful that Dr. Christian Devaux is still accepting patients. I am a new patient with Dr Devaux and I can say that I have never been more impressed with a physician. He is very thorough. His office staff are supportive, helpful and friendly. Salem Clinic is also a very impressive building. I called my insurance to ask for a recommendation for a very good doctor. She gave me Dr. Devaux's name. I can see why she thought he was exceptional. Thank you!!!

like i said they told me i could judge any boy in the school and dr devaux was the only doctor that could handle and it was simple i got my medicne and i was not the same due to what the sisters were ding to me and i i wsas told you are placed but he was the only doctor that made sense and like i said i needed a strict doctor years ago and he was basiclly someone that loves babies and all of it simple lots has happened and i was way to sick and tired to stay and i am going going thru therapy i i am basiclly scared of men and have been since i was young and like i waws told no one can figure out why you dont have a boyfriend and i used to punch them and my teacher could not ever figure it out but my grandpa told me that boys always have to respect you or you will not be ok and it was way to much slander and i said when i was young i did some stuff but i am 50 and will transition out i was told lots of perple have civil commits and multiple hospitalization and they still l go one to be… happy it was why family does not care and i always tried to help me and they were abusing due to a jealousy and no one would know who i was and th ereason is this it was a gruop attack and i went on in the oregon state hospital and they said the main problem was with all of it was it was doctors that did not care basiclly i am off all of my meds but my thyroid and serequel for my mental illnes and alli was told is tha n marian county i am basiclly not cared about and tye siad i was going to dui and it was different usuall girls get thin get haircus and no one cares about what someone used to look like and i was told that the doctor might be strick but he knew me and i am not acepted in the group becaus if i look good i lose everything and i saw the catholic doctor and it was over because i am always like the perosn thaat i ma with and i know them like the cat i know what they are doing before ethey do it and it was basicly this they odd one out and it was a fact that they confused me due to radiation and need to be counceled agai

Suggested I modify my diet and that my long-term back problems (which I believe are the result of adolescent-onset scoliosis) could be modified by changing my diet which would reduce a "chemical imbalance in my brain". No relief was provided for my pain. I had to wait 15 minutes to see him and then most of my appointment was spent waiting in the "patient room" alone, flicking through a magazine whilst he made decisions on "whether or not I was ready for treatment". Do not go here and waste your $130. Quackery, in the true sense and according to the original meaning of the word.

My husband and I had new patient/insurance appointments with Dr. Devaux so we were in the room together. I went first and explained that I was diagnosed at OHSU with Multiple Sclerosis and would need, in addition to having a primary care physician, a referral to OHSU. He asked me in a very rude way how I knew I had MS. I explained again the process I had gone through and who had done the diagnosis. He then stated that he could put in a referral but it would probably be denied. The entire time he spoke to me, he rarely looked at me and seemed irritated at what I was saying. Then it was my husband's turn. My husband had been experiencing quite a few health issues and set about trying to explain them, including concern over his low blood pressure. The doctor zeroed in on the fact that he smokes and stated that all his health issues were from the smoking and basically refused to do any examination or discuss his health any further. He ordered lab work and left the room. At that point we… were so frustrated that we decided to see another doctor. About a month later, my husband was experiencing dizziness and numbness so I took him into the urgent care. The doctor he saw that day commented on the high blood pressure medication that Dr. Devaux had prescribed and that my husband actually had low blood pressure. I am so glad that we were unaware of the prescribed medication because it could have caused my husband to die! We also discovered that all his health concerns were valid and that he is in need of further attention. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. Not only does he have terrible bedside manner, but he ignored real health concerns and prescribed inaccurate medication.
