Dr. Christian Donald Froerer, MD

Absolutely LOVE them!

I went to Dr. Froerer after reading great reviews online about him. Most of these were posted over one year ago. I think between that time and now, Dr. Froerer has taken on too many patients and is too busy. I felt rushed during every prenatal appointment. Many times, I could hardly get out a sentence or ask a question, before he would have me get on the exam table to listen to fetal heart tones. Diagnosing a problem is 90% listening to the history and 10% physical exam findings. I also could not get in for any urgent appointments. I had bleeding for nearly two weeks at 16 weeks gestation and could not get an appointment with him during this time. At the end of my pregnancy I had some labwork done. I had looked up my results on IHC's My health website. I work in the medical field and understood the results, but called the office to discuss the plan of care. I called on a Wednesday and Dr. Froerer nor his nurse were in that day. I spoke to the covering nurse and she… told me my lab results were not back yet. This was obviously a lie as I was looking at them on my home computer while I was talking to her! My assumption is that this covering nurse did not want to "deal with me" as I wasn't officially "her" (or the MD she works for) patient. I left every appointment feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. I only wish I had had the courage to find a new provider. I think that Dr. Froerer is a nice person and he is able to "get the job done" but in my experience it is not getting done well.

I tell everyone to go to Dr. Froerer! He delivered my first baby C-section. My baby was breech and it was the safest way to deliver him. Before the surgery I was extremely nervous and scared, but when Dr. Froerer came into the room I immediately felt at ease. He made my whole pregnancy and delivery comfortable and joyful. During my hospital stay after the delivery, every nurse that checked my incision said it was the smallest and cleanest incision they had ever seen. He is also very supportive of my plan for a VBAC for the next one!

I would recommend Dr. Froerer to everyone. He is way nice, easy going, and very professional.

I would highly recommend Dr. Froerer to ANYONE who is thinking of using him as their OBGYN. He is an amazing person and we consider him a friend. He helped deliver my first, get through a nasty miss-carriage and is now helping me deliver my second baby. When I went through my miss-carraige he was away on vacation when I had my D&C. He called me the moment he got home, which was on a Sunday, to check in on me. With my first child my body didn't want to deliver and I had to have oral and IV medication to get my body to dilate and eface. I thought forsure that I'd have to have a c-section but Dr. Froerer kept assuring me that my body would progress and I could have the baby vaginally which would be healthier for me rather than having surgery. He was right. He is excellent at what he does and knows what is best for his patients...even if we think we know more.

I feel so lucky to have found Dr Froerer. He has delivered both of my babies and performed my hysterectomy. In ever situation he was concerned about me and took extra time to make sure I was well educated and cared for. One of the nurses int eh hospital told me that she has never seen a Dr spent so much time with a patient post op. His office is busy and sometimes you might wait a bit, but it he worth waiting for. If you are looking for a Dr that will take care of you like a member of his own family then Dr Froerer is perfect.

Dr Froerer has got to be one of the nicest, most genuine people ever. He was awesome to work with. I was so nervous about having my baby and getting and OB dr and right as I met him he took away all that fear. He was supposed to go out of town the day I went into labor and I was so nervous to have a different dr, he stuck around and left hours after he was supposed to just so he could deliver my baby. It really meant a lot to me. If you're looking for a dr who truly cares about each and every one of his patients and makes you feel like not a patient but a friend, I'd recommend going to him for sure. I hope I never switch insurance or move away just so I can continue going to him :)
