Christian Kaschak, DO

Dr. Christian Kaschak is a specialty care physician, board-eligible in sports medicine. He joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2021.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Kaschak completed a sports medicine fellowship at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he served as a physician for Duke University, Elon University, and as the football team physician for Northern High School.

Dr. Kaschak’s clinical interests include sport-related injuries, knee and shoulder pain and treatments, sports concussion management, musculoskeletal ultrasound for both evaluation and intervention, orthobiologic treatments, team and sideline medicine, wilderness medicine, and emergency medicine.

He enjoys working with athletes at all levels—from competitive athletes to weekend warriors—and with anyone motivated to maintain or return to an active lifestyle. Dr. Kaschak takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, aiming to understand each individual’s unique story and help them return …to the activities they love as quickly and safely as possible. He strives to meet patients where they are and collaborate on personalized plans that support their health and activity goals.

In his free time, Dr. Kaschak enjoys soccer (he competed at the Division I level), golfing, working out, hiking, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with family.
