Dr. Christian Blakeslee Lloyd, MD

After 2 + years of appts being rescheduled due to his vacations and a final 1 1/2 hour waiting room time, I asked to be transferred to another Dr in the practice (one of only 2 practices in Wilmington) After waiting 15 days for a response to the request I was told by office manager -Trace Griffin- that he had not yet reviewed the request. 3 days later I get a letter stating that no one in the practice would be seeing me. The reasons I requested another Dr: Unavailability, not up to date on latest breakthroughs in COPD, rudeness over phone, lack of concern. I will say that his RN, Olivia Murphy was fantastic...she gave me better care than he did over those 2+years, as well as in the hospital (which he never came to)RN Murphy is very forward thinking, innovative and has a great "bedside manner". I believe it was very petty of Lloyd to refuse to turn me over to another Dr and "bar" me from the practice as a whole.

He has always been easy to talk to and takes time to review. Based on my positive experiences , I find him to be GREAT.

Great doctor, direct and truthful, , excellent probing questions, takes positive actions to cure problems, great follow up process. If you are interested in "folksy-chatty" pick someone else, if you are interested in curing or controlling your health issues I recommend you make an appointment.
