best electrophysiologist in town, had a tachycardia for years went to multiple doctors and hospital, no one could figure it out he did and cured me ,now 5 years no issues

I have been a patient of Dr. Machado's for six years and have never been happier. He is caring, attentive, courteous and his explanations are thorough and understandable. He recently performed the Watchman procedure on me and I must say I was very apprehensive and nervous about it at the beginning. He allayed my fears and answered any question I had. I would recommend to anyone seeking a cardiologist to schedule a consultation with him. Not all patients personalities "fit" all doctors and vise versa, but for me, he is a God-send. Thank you Dr. Machado.

He is knowledgable, and conservative in his approach. I was able to ask him questions, and he answered them thoroughly and straight forwardly. He didn't sugar coat his answers, but nor was he at all rude. I would recommend him to others.

Dr. Machado is very arrogant, overcharges ($1,350 for a 15 minute consultation).Dr. Machado refused to answer any of my questions during the consultation!He recommended doing heart surgery, when it was not medically necessary. (Went to a different hospital for a second opinion and the 2nd specialist recommended not doing surgery - Guess who I went with) Not Machado!!I would not recommend this specialist to anyone!!!

I went to U of M and hated everything about it there. I should have went to Dr. Machado first. He's courteous, considerate, accurate, and cares.
