Dr. Christian Edward Mathiesen, DDS

I have found Dr. Mathiesen to be one of the finest, most honorable dentist in Upstate New York. Not only is he a fine diagnostician, he is very thorough and does not look to do unnecessary work. I credit Dr. Mathiesen with his keen observation in discovering dental issues which could have cost me the loss of several teeth. I respect the fact that he is conservative and truly there for the best interest of his patient. I value his opinion and have always felt extremely confident in his care. His procedures are painless, his crowns are beautiful without being exorbitant. I can honestly say after having tried other dentists in the area, Dr. Mathiesen is a true gift! He is an asset to Saratoga Springs.

The office staff and hygienist are courteous, kind and competent. Dr. Mathieson is thorough, gentle and highly skilled. He completed crowns on 2 of my teeth and my front teeth now look beautiful. I recently called with some cold sensitivity on one tooth and, though I stressed it was not emergent, he saw me that day. I highly recommend this dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Mathiesen for years, so I can rate the Ease of Appt. as excellent. I was deathly fearful of dentists and Dr. Mathiesen's work and care, over the years, has changed my attitude tremendously to the point that I could probably cat nap while in the chair.

This dentist: I had seen him for an evaluation of the crimes done onto me prior, and hopefully repairs. He and his assistant Jennifer [whom stood far off in the corner of room with head down] while the dentist read my c------l complaint explaining harms done. He then washed his hands for a long time, and then put on a heavy-fabric [likely un-sanitized] glove, and passed heavy floss through back molars, and ended his game [of complicity and more] with the placement of a dental probe into [a previously drilled hole going into pulp chamber] my tooth #7 [I had remarked: yes that causes pain, he made no comment, just tossed my paper of complaints at me, jumped back, and stated he would not testify!] This tooth [#7] was damaged by the dentist that had drilled a hole of m--------s intent, into 23. I had become even more ill [in a new way] than I already was after this session; he likely exposed me to dental medical waste, through the likely un-sanitized floss and/or glove. And this guy also… works for the city, dealing with public safety. He is a [complicit] fraud and so much more!
