I talked to Jenny (nice and helpful) at the front desk who told me that if I had a simple kidney cyst I probably should go n see a urologist , probably I didn’t need to see a nephrologist and suggested to bring the test results in so that she would show the doctor , so I did . I made the trip to South Miami (about 40 min drive from my apt) just to bring the test results . After a couple of days she called me to say I could see doctor sooner because of cancellation, without mentioning anything about test results. The day of appointment comes , one of the girls check my blood pressure (normal) n my weight , which increased a bunch even though I eat healthy n small portions. I finally see the doctor who seats in front of me saying that I don’t have any problem with kidney cause small cyst is nothing to worry about. He never asks me to lay on the bed for visit, nothing. I replied, while I’m happy my kidneys are ok, why do I have kidney infection symptoms (fatigue, back pain, swollen n sore… wrist n ankles, right leg pain, etc) He started saying I should watch food calories (for the weight) , asked me if I was depressed (I ve never been in my life) and to do a colonoscopy, then he adds that maybe I didn’t need it cause I’m vegan . He was just taking senseless guesses and added that he was a kidney doctor, as to say he had no idea what my problem was... don’t all doctor have to know of general medicine, too? Anyway, I was left with no answer about my symptoms n when I go and pay they tell me the visit was $ 375. I couldn’t believe that was happening to me, it was a total waste of money. I usually I don’t write bad reviews but I was too disappointed not to let everybody know to be careful with this doctor!!!
