Christian Velez Cruz, MD

Dr. Velez Cruz provides a full spectrum of care to patients in Samaritan’s walk-in clinics. Born and raised in Puerto Rico with his first language as Spanish, Dr. Velez Cruz has a special interest in assisting the Spanish-speaking community. His work is inspired by fixing his patients’ health care issues. Having witnessed how entire families can thrive when a clinician performs their job to the fullest, he is motivated to include both the patient and the family when giving care, whether it is for a major health issue or just a small detail in care. Away from the clinic, Dr. Velez Cruz plays Dungeons & Dragons. He actually met his wife through the game. He also enjoys reading science fiction and horror novels, and plays retro video games from “ancient” consoles he has kept in good condition.
