Dr. Christian F Weigel, MD

Dr. Weigel is another money hungry doctor, who cares nothing about his patients, and is in cohoots with the pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Weigel is a very medically competent, compassionate, physician with high ethical and moral standards. As a physician myself, he is the one I trust to care for me.

I was completely insulted by these people. I was trying to get an appointment for ringing in my ears and was told that they will not give pain pills to me! THAT'S NOT WHY I WAS CALLING! I don't know why they would assume this! I had dental work done over 4 months ago and had a prescription of 20 pain pills! That is all. I think that he should have met me before making an assumption. Really poor business if you ask me!!!!

Geat caring doctor. Worth the wait.

I really loved the care that I got from Dr.Weigel. I have never received such good care. He really made me feel comfortable and secure. I think he is a wonderful caring doctor and am so glad that I chose him to be my primary physician.

I have not been pleased with my last few visits with this Dr. My level of care was far from what I would consider him keeping within is Hippocratic oath! More of a hypocrite than a caring physician. I will be seeking another Dr. more concerned for my overall well-being rather than where he may stand politically in this community!! Very sad situation to put a chronically ill patient in medical distress.

First of all I should say that this has to be the nicest doctor I, and members of my family have ever known. His bedside manner and amount of time spent with a patient that has questions has to be tops. He has been a little slow with diagnosing problems however, and has even been known to be wrong at first- BUT he is real good about sticking with a patient and seeing things through until he is SURE of the medical problem and the proper treatment.On the negative side, a close relative of mine who happens to think highly of this Dr, reports that his wait time can often be over an hour or longer- however this is likely due to his longer than average time he is willing to spend with a patient if they require more time than average or have a lot of questions etc. Also on the negative is that he does not always except many popular private insurance plans, and on average his billing rates seem EXTREMELY high. But if one has the right insurance they may not be too impacted by his high billing… rates.Lastly, although he is one of the most compassionate doctors, even though expensive, he has recently entered the area of POLITICS and a close relative of mine who is his patient has reported his concern about capping malpractice liability lawsuits, which may be something some patients might disagree with to the point of opting for a doctor that is either non involved with politics, or maybe has views they agree with.I was once entered into ER for chest pains and he took my case even though he normally did not except my insurance- it seems he recognized something about me and assumed correctly that I was a close relative to one of his patients that thinks very highly of this doctor.Conclusion: He is very compassionate and despite not always diagnosing a medical issue correctly the first time every-time, he has always seemed to try harder than many doctors I have known. That says a lot. But the wait time in his office is very long, and most importantly, his billing rates are normally extremely high and he does not except many popular brands of medical insurance. All in all I would rather trust my life to this doctor over many others, but the billing rates are very high. He does have a great caring personality though, and would make a great person to live next too. :)
