ChristiAnn Propp took my conditions very serious and was knowledgeable about HSD/hEDS and its comorbidities as it relates to GI symptoms. She was very sensitive to the fact that I have medical PTSD that I've been in trauma therapy for. She was able to validate my concerns that I had been misdiagnosed with GERD and I actually have functional dyspepsia. She was able to provide reassurance that my current medication regimen is helpful for my symptoms. She was knowledgeable in dysmotility issues related to HSD/hEDS as well as IBS and fibromyalgia. I'm grateful that she referred me for GI motility tests even if it doesn't change my treatment, as having more answers will be incredibly validating. She was also able to provide reassurance about the emotional toll that having chronic unexplainable GI symptoms can cause and how it affected my ability to maintain a healthy weight, enjoy cooking, and enjoy eating. It was helpful to learn that MNGI has a psychologist that can help with gut-brain… connection. I'm hopeful that this will help me overcome some of my fears and anxieties that I've developed from having chronic GI issues.

This Provider was awesome!

ChristiAnn is excellent, caring and friendly and sincere. I was a little sad that we had to start seeing someone else in between visits with our doctor but she's turned out to be great. I appreciate VERY much that she'll do "virtual" as I live over an hour's drive south of her location.

She's a keeper!

She was great!!!! She told me that I don't have to feel alone in my IBS journey and to always call with concerns. Which to me was super great, because in the past, Doctors have made me just feel like I'm crazy and she actually listened.
