Dr. Christie A Barnes, MD

It took 2 months to get an appointment - 1 week before my appt. they rescheduled out another month because Barnes was called into surgery. From the time I made the appointment to the actual visit was 3 months. My appointment was for 7:30 am in the morning and I arrived 15 minutes early - exam started 30 minutes late. Barnes came in around 8:15 and they scoped my nose. I was there for sinus issues and wanted a sinuplasty - she stated they don't do those and she stopped doing them. It is listed as a service on Nebraska Medicine's website. She stated she does not have good success with them after telling me "they" don't do them anymore. Then she says well there are other doctors in the area who do them, insinuating maybe I should try one of them. I wasted 3 months waiting to get into a doctor basically lied to my face. My insurance paid almost $750 for the visit between the E&M and nose scope. I only had a co-pay. Unless you have time and money to waste - stay away!
