SHE USED TO BE NICE AND PERSONABLE AND KIND BUT HAS CHANGED BECOMING A BIT SNARKY,GRUMPY, COCKY. NEVER USED TO BE LIKE THIS..MAYBE PMS MAYBE CHANGE OF LIFE HORMONAL ISSUES FOR HER AGE. DOESN'T LIKE BEING TOLD THE TRUTH THAT SOME OF THE HELP ARE AWFUL. BUT THE HELP REFLECTS BADLY ON HER. SOME EVEN HANG UP WHEN YOU ARE ON THE PHONE EXPLAINING WHY YOU CALLED. POORLY RUN OFFICE.

compassionate..a real decent person who listens and cares. her heart is in her vocation..

I love Dr. Ray, in fact if she got a new staff I'd follow her for miles to see her. She's an excellent doctor with a great bedside manner. She knows exactly how to treat you, she somehow intuits whether she needs to be tough with you (me!) or handle you with kid gloves (spouse!). If she doesn't know what's wrong with you (rare), she knows exactly how to find out. If this were a rate the doctor she would get five stars easy. It's a rate your experience, though. The problem is, when you really, really need a doctor, you're going to wait. You can't get a same-day appointment, in fact I've had to wait WEEKS to see the doctor after calling and saying it was important. You'll wait a while in the waiting room (and there are no good magazines, so bring a book!) Then you'll wait another while in the exam room (good thing you brought that book, eh?). To sum up - the doctor is awesome...the office not so much. When you're sick, you want to be seen.

Terrible at calling in scrips to pharmacies and getting back to insurance companies for authorizations. Sometimes 3 ot 4 days to call a script into a pharmacy. Sometimes we wait 3 or 4 days to receive information back from the office after calling. The dr seems to be out of the office frequently which delays authorizations and call backs.

She is also my gyno and has been the best one ever. Fast and efficient!
