Dr. Christina Maria Agustin, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Agustin over two years now, and she has helped me so much. She has been willing to try different approaches that other doctors never suggested, and she always asks my opinion before we take a new path to make sure I'm comfortable doing it. On top of that, I enjoy talking with her. She's compassionate, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable with helpful suggestions outside of medication management too. I look forward to our appointments, and I trust her. I can't say enough good things about her and the hope she's brought into my life.

She just listen and did not speak to the issues. I found her a waste of time and money. She seemed more focused on her self rather than the issues at hand. Would not go back to her.

I find Dr. Augustin a caring pro, genuinely interested in her patients. I also see a therapist regularly and only come to Dr. Augustin to evaluate whether I should continue taking meds. She asks a lot of questions to ascertain my state of mind, she doesn't just hand out an RX automatically.

I think she's a good, effective, professional doctor. She is a psychiatrist, prescribing drugs is part of her job. People are entitled to their opinions about prescribed drugs, but for me, they've really saved my life.

Christian is a product of a medical system that tends to over emphasize the use of medication for complex emotional problems in children. She is young and lacks the experience of being a parent herself. Try to get a second opinion if she gives you an RX and sends your child out the door with advice to return in 3 weeks. We left her office and called another doc on the way home.
