Dr. Christina Nicole Andrist, DO

Disgusting behavior.

I saw Doctor Andrist for a brief routine check up and a followup on a recently prescribed medication. I was beyond unpleased with her diagnosis, behavior and communication with me. Besides being obnoxious, arrogant and rather judgmental she had an apparent inability to listen to any of my personal concerns. The reason I went to see Doctor Andrist was to discuss ways to AVOID potential addiction and dependence on adderall. When I claimed that I take 20mg to help me with homework her response was "Actually it doesn't help you focus," as if she knew my feelings and experiences. The final insult was when she asked for urinary drug test before continuing an already prescribed mediation that has been benefiting my life. When asked why she wanted a drug test she responded by saying that the fact I take LESS than the prescribed dose (I did so in order to avoid a tolerance build up or dependence, my previous TWO doctors both agreed that this was something I should do if possible) lead… her to believe that I was a "self mediator" and abused drugs for recreational purposes. I am a 3.7 GPA student, a boy scout and an employee at a summer camp for children, her view of me as a recreational drug user was beyond insulting. Avoid Doctor Andrist if at all possible.
