Dr. Christina Maureen Arnett, MD

My husband and I had our first consult with Dr Arnett after being referred by our Doctor. From the beginning a bad tone was set for the appointment. On arrival the receptionist seemed rushed and annoyed when we politely let her know that the contact information on their website was wrong. Stating "oh that's not our fault." The nurse we had was lovely however when she bought us to Dr. Arnetts office it was very awkward as she was scolded by the Doctor and another nurse in front of us. We were then ushered back to the same room as before where we waited for another 15minutes. In that room the trash can was wide open where biohazard swabs covered in blood etc were clearly visible with my husband stating that it smelt and made him feel ill. When we finally did get into our appointment Dr Arnett was at first nice while gathering more information about our histories. However once she began to explain background information she was very rushed and disinterested in any questions we might… have. She then received a phone call and when off the phone was scattered not explaining clearly what the next steps of the appointment were and rushed us into another room with a pile of photocopied papers that were apparently (we found out after) information handouts. In the new room we again waited not really knowing what was going on until a different nurse came in. We then explained to the nurse that we didn't know what was going on and made her sit down and explain what we were doing next and following the appointment. In all we felt very disappointed with the appointment and dysfunction in the office. Dr Arnett seemed too busy to give us adequate time and didn't ask if we had any questions or give reassurances. This appointment was quite emotional for us as it was the first step to addressing and finding out more regarding our fertility issues. However as patient we have sadly left doubting the clinics professionalism and priorities for patient care both physically and emotionally.
