Dr. Christina Elizabeth Cano-Gonzalez, MD

My last visit with her in Oct. 12, 2018 , explained to me why I am having those pains. She made me feel I am an important patient to her.

I have voice concerns about not being able to afford to be in her office every 3 mo the and it has gone on deaf ears... She needs to understand that some of us live on a fixed income! I left my former male doctor for a female, thinking she'd be more understanding and caring, boy was I wrong!! I do not recommend this doctor to anyone??.

Dr. Cano-Gonzales is only in making money and not the health of her patients. Plus most her staff and office manager are highly incompetent. They kept trying to tell me that my insurance was not valid and I was not covered. I had to instruct them on what number to call (clearly printed on back of medical card) and how to get to someone to talk to. They had verified my husband insurance (same as mine) the week prior. The worst part is I take Cymbalta and thought the doctor had given me a 90 day supply like the other meds she renewed for me. I have run completely out and she will not refill because I need to come in for blood work to â??check my levelsâ??. Cymbalta is taken for depression and chronic pain; there is nothing in blood work to be checked. I have been taking it for a couple of years now and never have had to have blood work done. So in order to make more money off an office visit and unnecessary labs, she will not refill my prescription and would rather have me go through… extreme withdrawals. Withdrawals from Cymbalta can be very painful and worst are the brain zaps it causes. Find another doctor who is not into only making money.
