Dr. Christina Eileen Ellis, MD

I came to Dr. Ellis a few years ago after battling endometriosis for years with little intervention. It got to a point where I knew something was wrong and sought additional help. From my symptoms, it was apparent that it was on my bowels which made it so other surgeons were uncomfortable operating on me. Not Dr. Ellis though. She was prepared with the help of another surgeon and had me prepare for a possible bowel resection. Luckily that didn't happen and she was able to excise the visible adhesions. After surgery with some complications, she was so very caring and even came to visit me in the hospital. Endometriosis is an ugly condition and finding someone who is knowledgable and caring is so very rare. Thank you Dr. Ellis!

I was sent to Dr. Ellis by my primary doctor. I had big problems and she in short time, took care of my problems and of me. I was very impressed with her knowledge and of the way she handled my questions and set my mind at ease.

I agree with the other review. This doctor was listed has a excision surgeon for endo. I traveled over an hour to see her. I left her office in tears. She was very uneducated about endo and tge treatments . Kept pushing lupron (anyone that has endo knows that its not an option!) Also made a comment like" well if i do a surgery you will just need another one in another year" yeah no crap! There is no cure,ive had 14 already!! She said she didnt feel comfortable operating on me,my last surgeon put a hole in my bladder,so she is just inexperienced in surgery if she was so afraid to operate on me!! She needs to be removed from the hyster sisters website!

Doctor has horrible bed side manner, very pro-birth control/lupron/other hormonal remedies despite knowing how bad they are for Endometriosis. If she's unable to surgically find an answer, makes patients feel inferior and awful about themsleves and prognosis.
