Christina Fanola, MD

Nice to have cardiologist here, but I wasn't comfortable with her. I realize she's a specialist but most patients want a Dr they feel are being treated with compassion and some explanation of what the Dr orders.

Dr. Fanola is an outstanding cardiologist. She has been treating me since the spring of this year (2021). From the moment she greeted me in the exam room, I knew I had a trusted parter with exceptional expertise to handle my case. She is brilliant, easy to communicate with, collaborative, open-minded, calm, thorough, patient-centered, and very knowledgeable with all things covid and cardiology. She also collaborates well with my PCP and other care team members. My experience working with her has been straightforward, consistent and enjoyable. Her approach has been so valuable to me when my anxiety has been consistently high navigating cardiac test, exams etc. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Fanola as my cardiologist. For anyone needing cardiology and vascular expertise, I would highly recommend Dr. Fanola to anyone!

Dr. Fanola is a phenomenal Cardiologist!! I went to see her because my father died from a ruptured aneurysm(brain hemorrhage) at age 43. During our very first appointment she said I probably have FMD( Fibromuscular Dysplasia) from what I told her about myself, and my history. After thorough testing the results proved that I do have FMD. FMD is a disease that softens artery walls, which increases the chances for aneurysms. Dr. Fanola also discovered that I had a carotid dissection recently!! I was very lucky I survived and did not have any residual physical damage. The gratitude I have for her thorough evaluation and diagnosis is immense. She is so perceptive, intuitive and caring. I couldn't be in more excellent hands. She is always in touch with me and she will be monitoring my FMD and blood pressure yearly. I tell my family and friends about her incredible care, and how lucky I am that I found her. I will continue to tell everyone I know how great she is. The care she has given… me, I truly believe, has saved me from a devastating stroke or even death. She is the BEST!!
