Dr. Christina Marie Mannino, DO

We would like to share our unfortunate experience with Dr. Christina Mannino, DO. My husband was having serious health issues and was urged by his PCP to immediately go to ER. Dr. Mannino was his attending physician. The care she administered was of low value: she refused to provide any tests to find out the cause of his health problem - not even a blood test, claiming no tests were necessary since basic tests had been done during our prior recent ER visit. However, those prior basic tests failed to identify the cause of his problem, and his health since then worsened, so further tests were obviously needed to pinpoint the cause of his condition. Instead of addressing his health issue, she loaded him up with sedatives which knocked him out, and he spent 7 hours in ER in a zombie- like state with no improvement of his condition. Out of these 7 hours Dr Mannino spent about 3 minutes with us, rattled off a list of possible reasons (some of them life-threatening) and in the end announced… that it was not her problem to identify the cause of his debilitating state. She was very hard to talk to you with an extremely cocky and dismissive attitude. As a result, our long stay in ER was a complete waste of time, and we left the hospital shocked and disappointed with such an unusually unprofessional treatment. We have been to this ER before and never experienced anything like it. Next time we will make sure to stay clear of this doctor.
