Christina Norton, APRN, CNP

Christina Norton, APRN, CNP, has been a dedicated specialist in sleep medicine with Essentia Health since 2016. She chose this field because of its potential to improve not just physical health, but also mental, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral well-being. Her previous roles included being a nurse practitioner in emergency medicine and a registered nurse in critical care, labor and delivery, and nursing administration. Christina also spent three years as a registered nurse in an inpatient behavioral health setting. She understands that poor sleep quality can lead to chronic diseases, cognitive issues, mental health problems, increased injury risk, and reduced productivity. By helping her patients achieve restful and restorative sleep, Christina aims to enhance their overall health and quality of life. Christina's particular interest lies in the connection between sleep and mental health.
