Dr. Christina Rebecca Parkhurst, MD

Dr Parkhurst, excellent surgeon. She came in on a Sunday, Feb 14,2021 and performed emergency surgery. Professional and she listens to her patient. She got to the problem and fixed it. This is a surgeon to call if you are going to have GI done. She is very knowledgeable. I am an old nurse and this is one surgeon that you can trust.

Dr. Parkhurst recently removed my gallbadder, which was in very bad shape. This was my first surgery ever in my life, and she made me feel very comfortable with the process. She told me what to expect, and listened to my concerns. She followed up with me the day after my surgery, and her staff was so awesome with questions I had during my recovery process - they always got back to me very quickly and addressed my issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Parkhurst.

Dr Parkhurst took out my husband and my gallbladder. She is so nice. She told us what to expect. She did an Awesone job. I would recommend her to anyone.

Surgery went well. However, the lack of care afterwards was inexcusable. I was discharged by a nurse after not being checked by the surgeon for 2 days. Ended up with a terrible infection that would have been seen had the Doctor bothered to look at the incision. Had to be reopened by a reputable surgeon at a different hospital 2 days later and now have an open wound. Will need more surgery to repair the damage. I will have some disfigurement forever. This could have been avoided.
