Dr. Christina Ann Ramirez, MD

I used doctor Ramirez with my first pregnancy. While I was in labor she almost gave me an emergency c section for no reason the nurse in the room saved me from that. Then when I told her I felt like I needed to push she told me so push and walked out of the room. While she was stitching me from the episiotomy I had no more pain medication and could sit still she became very frustrated. Please do yourself a favor and find another doctor.

Simply the best

Being in the healthcare profession requires a certain amount of professionalism, compassion and common decency. This MA completely lacked that! To be specific the short MA with short black hair (hispanic) is the most unprofessional "person" I have met. She made me feel soooo uncomfortable. She loudly asked me very personal questions in waiting room with another woman there, while laughing in my face. I was ready to leave the office before the doctor even got to the room. With staff like that, it doesn't matter how great the doctor is!

The experience of having my baby was completely destroyed by having Dr Ramirez as my doctor. I am happy for those who have had positive experiences. I just want to warn others that if she says that you should be induced because of the size of the baby, and, you have any doubts, do not push them aside. I was induced and in labor for days and ultimately had a c section. After it was all over I had pulmonary edema. It was horrendous. She never even came to visit me in the hospital after to see how I was doing. There are so many more details of what I went through post delivery that I will not write here. Just, please get a second opinion if you have any doubt.

The Worst dr I have ever dealt with. She was completely unprofessional while I was in labor. She basically abandoned me while I was in labor and I had to have the nurse to tell her to check on me as I had been in labor for 10 hrs in the hospital and though I saw her when I checked in, she had yet to check me 10 hrs later!!! She was soooo rough during my section and when I was in pain during the procedure she asked me what was wrong and I told her and she said it’s impossible for me to be in pain. And then proceeded to be more rough. The worst experience of my life!!! Stay far away from this dr. She couldn’t care less about her patients or their families.

I would not recommend this practice to any patient. The office staff were extremely rude. The front desk lady was not helpful at all, the medical assistant rushed me and spoke to me like I was a computer. The physician diddnt even look at me when she spoke to me she looked at her laptop the entire time. Every question the MA asked she asked again. While being examined another MA came in abruptly and yelled out asking me if im a virgin? WOW so unprofessional, I would never come back to this office. Absolutely no bedside matter. Waited two months for this appointment, not impressed.

I have been going to her since the beginning of my pregnancy. I think she's a great doctor and I'm excited to deliver my baby tomorrow

I can't begin to express how amazing Dr. Ramirez is. Reading all these negative reviews makes me sad because they can't be furthest from the truth. She doesn't own any office ( garden/massapequa) she's simply a doctor working there, therefor she has no control over the staff or how the receptionist does their job. I think Dr. Terrani the owner of all garden OBGYN is to blame for the factory like place. I only stayed because of Dr. Ramirez. My first pregnancy I was induced and she allowed me to try and have my baby vaginaly (he was estimated to be over 9lbs) she knew I didn't want a c-section, I had my son naturally! She was always extermly real and honest more like a friend which I loved, for my second baby she couldn't deliver me because of my insurance. It she saw me and helped me every step of the way, she's really the reason why both my children were delivered naturally. She not once pushed for a csection not even after 20hrs of me being in labor! She was always there for me and my… husband via text, I only have positive things to say. It's unfortunate that people confuse the entire office with her because I think that's out of her hands.

I would definetly NOT Recommend this dr. I went to Dr Ramirez as a new patient. I am a 47 year old woman & head some concerns about heavy periods & changing birth control. After a 10 min exam & not knowing any of my previous history, she scheduled me for a D & C. Why? That what I wanted to know. I have absolutely no history of anything abnormal & she was 99% sure that my symptoms were the start of perimenopause. I then asked her about permanent birth control. Her response "at your age, you have like no eggs left. your fertility rate is very low, like 1-2 % HELLO, I don't want to be that 1 % . So against my better judgement, I scheduled the appointment for the procedure, allowing 3 weeks which I thought was enough time to contact Dr Ramirez to discuss my concerns. I contacted her by phone, 4 TIMES, none of my calls were returned! At this point, there was absolutely no way I was letting this woman do any procedure on me. If she doesn't care enough… to return a simple phone call, there was no way I was ever goin to see her again! I could elaborate on the rest of the details, but I think everyone reading this, got the message. DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! HER PATIENTS ARE $ SIGNS & NOTHING MORE.
