Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:When I was a child, I had an interaction with a very kind nurse and that first impression has never left me. It was then that I knew I wanted to give others that same feeling of compassion and empathy that I received. I have worked at Wellspan for the past 24 years and have cared for patients of all ages.Learning and furthering my career is very important to me and I consider myself a ""forever student.""What I want my patients to know about me:I want my patients to know that I genuinely care and I am listening when you speak. I will treat you with respect and compassion as I advocate for you. We will work together as a team to achieve your healthcare goals.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:When not seeing patients, I am spending time with my two children and my grandchild. I also enjoy spending time with friends and my ministry family. A few of my favorite past times are reading, listening to music and shopping.
