Dr. Christina Ann Szot, MD

Dr Szot is a excellent physician, she listens and explains so well. I enjoy my visits with her.

I was made an appointment by my cardiologist to see Dr Szot. I was given a card with an address on Prater. I get to my appointment only to be told this is not Dr Szots office. And that it was 20 minutes away. So I get in my car and drive there while calling the number on the card. After 10 minutes on hold I was told that is not the correct number and they gave me the correct one. So I call and then am put on hold once again. As I’m pulling into the parking lot they finally answer only to tell me I’ve lost my appt spot and can’t be seen until July. They dropped the ball all the way around. I haven’t even gotten my sleep study device. I was told to pick it up from the wrong place and still haven’t gotten the correct place to pick up this said device. Will I even hear from anyone about this device?

Been a regular patient of Dr Szot for a few years now , but was initially seen by her 12 years ago. She is very caring and a good listener. She doesn’t rush, and I’m comfortable discussing whatever is troubling me that may have a bearing on my symptoms. She’s definitely not one to dish out prescriptions and send you home, to the contrary. She is concerned with not only physical but also emotional well being. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.I have multiple auto immune illnesses and she’s my pulmonary Doctor For Sarcoidosis. She’s very knowledgeable and caring and if hate to lose her. I was having a difficult time adjusting to my BiPap machine. Dr. Szot was kind and full of information. I am know able to wear the machine for at least 5 hours per night.

When Dr. Shot took over my case, we got somewhere. Instead of being shuffled from Doctor to Doctor, she evaluated my case based on tests, and referred me to a specialist at Davis. She does my checkups and keeps everybody informed!5

My interactions with staff have not been as helpful or as friendly as in other m.d. offices, especially the front office staff.

Dr. Sozt herself was wonderful, most of the staff I interacted with was kind and professional. However, I had to wait 2 months to get my first appointment and staff was supposed to call me when their calendar system opened to schedule a six month followup, but no call was received. When I called to schedule a followup it was another 2-3 month wait, but I was accomodated by seeing another doctor in the office. In the interim, I had occasion to call the office with a question on medical records and encountered a quite unhelpful and abrupt young woman. The doctor was great, the office personnel, procedures, and computer programs need work.

It would take 2-8 months to schedule a doctors appointment. Staff and the nurse I spoke with were rude and improfessional. The doctor was never available. She never followed up with me. Seemed like her office had too much going on and couldn't keep track of their patients.

When I arrived in the office there was a huge line waiting for the receptionist. Luckly they already had me checked in and called my name while still in line! Quick quick wait for the Dr. and she was great. I am 45 and well I never expected lung problems. She was wonderfull and we came up with a plan to find out what's up. Great folks all around!

I'm very pleased with Dr. Szots care. She takes her time during the appointment, listening well, and is very thorough.
