Dr. Christina Lynn Thompson, MD

Dr.Thompson is one of the most thorough and caring physicians I have ever met. She is not long on words. But I appreciate her straight forward, business like manner. She has been my primary physician for 5 years now, having monitored me through breast cancer and several medical issues. She always greets me with a shy smile, asks how I am feeling today, then gets to work. Dr. T orders all needed tests, offers me latest info on preventative care, answers all questions, and knows when to refer a specialist. I am well pleased and glad to have found her.

Dr. Thompson is very rude, is not thorough, is not up-to-date on current medical research, and will not take the appropriate time to cover questions. I saw her recently about a particular problem and when I told her I had a second problem I wanted to ask about, she snapped at me very rudely and told me she was already behind on seeing patients and I had to stand my ground so she would even listen to my important question. Also, she did not give me any advice on how to prevent a medical issue from getting worse. I asked her if there was anything I could do to alleviate my problem, and she told me there wasn't. After researching this problem myself, I found there are definitely a few simple life style changes that I need to make. I would not recommend Dr. Thompson to anyone.

Usually I am very healthy, but this summer I caught a cold that went into my chest. Although I had taken two rounds of antibiotics, a month later I was still sick. Dr. Thompson spent time asking many questions and really listening to my answers. I appreciate the way that she really thinks about the best way to help you get better. She gave me a different antibiotic and a 6 day pack of steroids. I started finally getting well after being sick for over a month. Also, her staff has called multiple times to see how I am doing. Dr. Thompson encourages you to take better care of yourself, which is important if you are a woman used to putting yourself and your health last on the list. I am so glad that I found her.

Dr. Thompson was very brief with me and did not thoroughly discuss the issues that I have. She was actually somewhat rude to me and seemed irritated that I was asking questions regarding the symtoms I was having.
