Dr. Christina Weng, MD

Fabulous doctor-smart and truly cares. I have seen her three times. She always tries her best to spend quality time with you as a patient even though I know she is typically running behind. I wish she had fewer patients so the wait was shorter but I guess that is the trade off for a doctor who is as qualified as she is. Still worth the wait!

Dr. Weng was great--she took time to actually LISTEN to me even though the waiting room was quite full. Then she provided a treatment that cured my problem. Thankful to my neighbor who recommended this doctor to me.

Dr. Weng was a great listener and heard what I had to say about my eyes. She has trained at the top schools in the country, and after doing research about the many retina doctors in the area, I chose to go to her. Even though I had to wait months to get a slot, it was worthwhile. She talks quickly, but explained everything clearly. She told me that there were surgical options available, but never pressured me to pursue surgery unless I felt ready--a testament to her integrity (have had other doctors try to sell me on things). I trust her fully!

As someone with a congenital retinal condition, I have seen at least a dozen different retinal specialists in my life. Dr. Weng was highly recommended by my doctor friends, and I can attest that she is worth the wait and the hype. Yes, her waiting room can be a beast (I was given a heads up by her team), but trust me, it's better to see a thorough, skilled, and caring doctor than an assembly line doctor who spends two seconds with you. I feel well cared for, and feel so grateful that she accepted me as a patient.

Great eye doctor, came highly referred. Trustworthy, didn't seem to just want to sell me services. Patient and empathetic and took time to answer my questions. Wait time was a bit long, but worth it.
