Dr. Christine Bockhorn

I got a letter from her stating that she would no longer be practicing around the better half of 3-4 years ago. The fact that she is listed as being at the Chilton center is ridiculous (now granted I have not checked in the last 2 years) ... but when I called for an appointment (forgetting the letter that was sent to me)... the last time I did call there... the staff informed me, and said, "She filed bankruptcy", and "is no longer here." ~ I laughed because I forgot about her letter of "not practicing". My first impression of her was above and beyond even my high expectations. She was kind, listened to what I said and actually engaged in conversation about my health in all areas. She was thorough, intelligent, but after some time she became a little too driven. I think she got a little of that dreaded "God Complex", although she would respect most of the patient's wishes (as long as the patient was alert and capable of making their own decisions... if not even you P.O.A. or Living Will… means nothing to her if you're under the age of 90+) Ironically despite my commentary here, I wish she would return to practicing medicine since compared to what others I've come across don't even come close to her extent of caring.
