Horrible, bed side manner- trash, rushed you through appointment, just very stand offish. She hates her job

Despite seeing her 4+ times for prenatal care, she never even checks my records before coming in and presuming we’d never met. I get it, she sees a lot of patients, I don’t expect her to recall everything about me. I do have a higher risk pregnancy with gestational diabetes though and she seems unsure how to manage it and it doesn’t feel great that she is not familiar with me/my care when I come in. Anytime I have a question, I know it’s best to wait for my maternal fetal medicine doctor because this NP won’t have an answer, even to policies like how often I should be coming in (she told me off for not coming in 1x per week and 1x ultrasound at the MFM doctor…after I had specifically asked her the appt prior how often I needed to come in and she had told me otherwise and to “just check the chart online”). I told her I’m diet managed, my visit summary indicates unknown management, etc. her hours are really good though and the office gets me through quickly. Otherwise she’s sociable.

Worst ever! She looked very rushing and no room for connection, didn’t even open my chart and showed no interest to know why I am removing my IUD after just 4 months of insertion. And didn’t even say about a word about me having very elevated blood pressure (161/112), at least say a word -‘take care of yourself’ ! It was an unbelievable experience to me!

She is an amazing nurse practitioner.very patient and caring. I was very happy with her.

This provider was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Didn’t listen to my concerns or address the reason for my visit. Seems out of touch with her patients. I recommend you see another provider.

As soon as she walked in this medical practitioner made no eye contact. She went straight to the computer and started typing. To every question I asked she replied with a loud booming outdoor voice. This was particularly embarrassing when I was asking her intimate female medical questions. She laughed derisively and said something like, “How am I supposed to know.” Honestly, if anyone was walking by outside, they would have heard everything. I was highly embarrassed. I recommend this nurse practitioner review her behavior and attitude. If she finds herself unable or unwilling to change, she should consider moving into a job that doesn’t require empathy and discretion.
