Dr. Christine Eros, MD

I'm a caregiver for my mother and love being able to come in on a Saturday (Beauty Day) and have someone take care of my needs for a change. The office is easily accessible, close to freeways, and lots of parking. Dr. Eros has been my Botox MD for several years now and I always look forward to her beauty specials that are offered throughout the year. Did I mention SATURDAY appointments? Yeah!

Dr. Eros has been a great doctor for me. She listens to my complaints and is insightful about various interventions. She has a pleasing personality and sincerely wants to do her best for her patient. I am so glad I found Dr. Eros.

I was in the market for a new Primary Care Physician, as I turned 65 and Medicare now covers my insurance policy as my Primary Insurance Carrier. After speaking to doctor Eros about my medical history at length, she recommended some blood tests, to check my diabetes. Upon receiving the blood tests back from the blood lab, she had her receptionist contact me with the results (as the doctor was either on vacation or had gone for the day). The receptionist advised me I was anemic , which I had previous told Dr. Eros that I that was normal. Then the receptionist mentioned that I might have some internal bleeding, and to provide stool samples. As I had previously told Dr. Eros that I was under G.I. care, and was due for a endo-colonoscopy, this problem was to be resolved within the same week that I saw her. Somehow, I believe that their was a communication breakdown on my initial visit, and do not believe that it was due to my not providing enough info. There is more complaints, but… I believe you can decide on your own. I called the doctor's office and let them know I would be looking elsewhere for a new physician.

Dr. Eros rushes through appts and looks at you like you're crazy if you ask questions. She has horrible social skills and talks to you like you're an object rather than a human. The staff, on the other hand, have always been cheerful and courteous.

Dr. Eros is just too busy. She rushes through appointments and doesn't take the time to make the patient feel like their illness necessitated her attention. She is very focused on getting in, and getting out. I also got the up-sale for the diet products she offers in her office. Some of her office staff were very nice, but then others were also brusque and terse with their patients so they could hurry back to work. Overall, there is a negative atmosphere at her office. The last straw for me, was sitting at home with a horrible sinus infection for an extra three days because I truly dreaded trying to make an appointment with this office, and then having to go in. It was at this time I decided to switch.

Dr Eros is quite nice, however appointments are so tightly scheduled she is usually a bit rushed. Appointments are usually 1 to 1 1/2 MONTHS out. I've been squeezed in on a urgent need basis a few time--never saw her, just a nurse practitioner.

Their docs and nurses staff are excellent. But people work at the front desk have really bad attitude. Don't care about their patients. Never smile at you and they will never looking at you when they talk. BAD BAD BAd

Treats family members who show concern about me like they should not be there. I was upset about that. She made my wife feel like a third wheel when my wife came in to find out more about an infection I had. Also, Dr. Eros convinced me to purchase Diet Powder from her on the side to loose weight. I did it, but not sure if I should have. Too bad, because she seems to be a good doctor otherwise.
